Product Description
The 100% natural Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag is the world's finest baby sleep sack. Its remarkable natural merino fabric and award-winning design help your baby to sleep safely through the night.
Crafted from superfine allergy-safe merino wool, the Merino Kids baby sleep sack is luxuriously soft and light upon your baby's body. It fits babies safely up to two years and its quality workmanship guarantees years of wear.
Babies can take as long as a year to develop the full capability to regulate their own body temperature, which is why they often wake too hot or too cold. Only merino fabric has the remarkable natural ability to regulate body temperature and the Merino Kids baby sleep sack is ideal all-year-round for nursery room temperatures from 64°F to 75°F. It captures and circulates air to insulate your baby when the room temperature falls, and releases excess body heat and moisture as the room temperature rises, to create the perfect safe micro-climate around their body.
Your baby has the freedom to move naturally in their Merino Kids baby sleep sack but they cannot slip underneath, nor wriggle out and wake uncovered and cold, as can happen with blankets. Parents get a good night's sleep with the peace of mind that their baby won't get too cold or too hot and their baby's head won't get covered.
Promotes back sleeping; sleeveless for better air circulation; fabric stays clear of baby's face; reduced risk of overheating due to merino's natural body temperature-regulating capability.
The innovative safety belt aperture allows the sleep sack to be worn safely in car or stroller, making it easy to transfer them asleep to and from their crib.
100% natural long staple cotton outer layer for extra durability. Opens up flat for easy dressing. Unzips from the bottom for quick diaper changes.

- didn't do the trick Review by kolibrik

This is a very nice and soft bag. Unfortunately it did not do the trick. I purchased it after reading nice reviews for my 3-month old hoping this would help the baby to stay warm during the winter nights. However, the baby kept waking up with very cold nose and hands (hands are open so not surprising) even though he had warm pjs and onesies underneath - so I had to use extra blankets. The bag was clearly not enough and it's also relatively thin. The temperature at our place is 68-70 F at night which should be fine according to this bag's description. Given the high price for this product, I was disappointed, but I'm keeping the bag b/c it's nice and may work better in spring/fall seasons.
(I originally bought the Oatmeal color and tried to place this review for Oatmeal Merino Bag but for some reason it did not get displayed among other reviews, but the website does not allow me to place another one there).(Posted on 2/13/10)

- Not as expensive as it seems Review by Jennifer Oneill

OK, so I saw these and thought they looked terrific but were a bit pricey. But, my Mom taught me to think of the expense of a garment in cost per use, so if you buy a set of two of these (one light weight and one duvet weight) for two hundred dollars, and use them every day for 2 years (as I definitely will) then you're paying about 26 cents per day to have the best sleep sacks money can buy. When you look at it that way, these are a steal! I bought tons of those fleece sleepsacks for my first and none of them are in decent enough shape for my second to wear them. Plus he used to get all hot and sweaty in them during his "hot" part of the night and then get chilled during his "cold" part of the night. Not with the merino kids, my baby stays comfy all night long. They're unbelievably soft and I can't say enough good about them. Definitely one of my all time best baby purchases!
